Everyone wants to edit their videos for Youtube today. But all the video editors available in the market are rather costly and not easily available. If you face these problems, then Lightworks is the right application for you. But excluding that it is a pretty neat application (considering the things you do to get a paid application for free and in turn ripping software companies off).
Lightworks is available for Windows and Linux and will soon be available to Mac OS.

Audacity

Have you ever felt the need to edit audio or music and can't seem to find the perfect free software to do so. Yes WavePad is fine to use but it is not free. Therefore here is a software for this particular purpose. Its free, its light and its Audacity. Audacity is available for both Windows and Mac. It does not have so many features as Audition or Sound Forge but it has all the basic features for audio editing.

Oracle VM Virtual Box

This software is potentially useful for the more technically inclined.


VirtualBox is a cross-platform virtualization application. What does that mean? Blue Stacks is an open source software which allows us to run android applications on our PC. Blue stacks is free and it even allows to install third party android applications which we can download from the internet.
Blue stack is also helpful for developers so as to test their developing android applications. This is potentially useful for people to emulate android without using the complicated process of Virtual Box.

Object Dock

Do you like the dock on Mac OS X, but can't afford a Mac. We are here with a solution for you. Object Dock is a free and light software for placing a dock at the bottom of the webpage. This application is available for Windows 7.

Flutter

Flutter is a start up application by Flutter Inc now owned by Google Inc. This application allows us to control over PC using our webcam. This app is currently available only in Windows 7 and Mac OS X operating system platforms. Flutter has basically 3 commands, Pause/Play, Next and Previous. Flutter can be used on popular applications such as VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player, iTunes, Netflix etc.
Flutter also has its extension in Chrome store. Since Google has bought this start up company, we can likely expect it to be available for Google Play Store soon.

How to use it:

1. Download the application from https://flutterapp.com/ for Windows 7 or Mac OS X.
2. Install the Flutter.msi file.
3. After that open the Flutter shortcut on your desktop.
4. Go through the quick guide process.
5. Then start using it on you applications.

Advantages of Flutter

4. Your webcam remains On all the time and that speck of light is rather distracting.

Whatever may be the advantages or the disadvantages but its still a cool app to impress your friends with.
