Flutter

Flutter is a start up application by Flutter Inc now owned by Google Inc. This application allows us to control over PC using our webcam. This app is currently available only in Windows 7 and Mac OS X operating system platforms. Flutter has basically 3 commands, Pause/Play, Next and Previous. Flutter can be used on popular applications such as VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player, iTunes, Netflix etc.
Flutter also has its extension in Chrome store. Since Google has bought this start up company, we can likely expect it to be available for Google Play Store soon.

How to use it:

1. Download the application from https://flutterapp.com/ for Windows 7 or Mac OS X.
2. Install the Flutter.msi file.
3. After that open the Flutter shortcut on your desktop.
4. Go through the quick guide process.
5. Then start using it on you applications.

Advantages of Flutter

1. Flutter allows us to control our popular applications without using your mouse or trackpad.
2. Flutter is light and compact and does not slow down your computer even if it runs in the background.
3. It is absolutely free with no extra charges.

Disadvantages of Flutter

1. Has only 3 commands.
2. Can only be used in limited no. of applications.
3. Only works with Windows 7 and Mac OS X
4. Your webcam remains On all the time and that speck of light is rather distracting.

Whatever may be the advantages or the disadvantages but its still a cool app to impress your friends with.
